Sean has worked in financial services for over 25 years. The bulk of that time has been with the RI Advice Group (and RetireInvest) looking after clients on Sydney’s northern beaches and beyond.

With a background in Engineering Surveying, Sean decided on a career change in the year 2000 and took on a role at one of the original RetireInvest offices, in Mosman, Sydney.

In late 2005, Sean set up the RI Advice Brookvale practice. After over 15 years located in Brookvale, the business moved to new premises in nearby Dee Why in 2021 (where it remains to this day).

In November 2025, RI Advice Brookvale merged with another RI Advice practice, Finsura Wealth Management P/L.

For the past 20 years or more, Sean, with the assistance of a team of dedicated support staff, has built an enviable reputation for providing quality advice and service to long-standing clients.

Sean gains particular satisfaction from seeing long-term clients living out the lifestyle to which they have aspired as a result of his strategic financial advice.

Sean holds the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner™ or CFP® qualification, is a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) and has a Diploma of Financial Planning. With these qualifications and experience, Sean is well qualified to help clients achieve their financial goals.

I have been a financial planning professional for over 10 years. I hold the internationally recognised Certified Financial Planner™ qualification, Bachelor of Business, Advanced diploma in Financial Services and am involved in the Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Program.

As a Senior Financial Planner I specialise in the following strategies: wealth creation, insurance management, superannuation, retirement planning and tax effective investment.

Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching sport. I am a proud supporter of St George Illawarra during the winter months, while in summer I like to spend time at the beach. Socialising with friends and spending time with family is my favourite pastime.

Claire has worked for over 30 years in the financial services industry in various customer service, administration and executive support roles. She also worked for many years as an in-house IT Training Specialist for a major fund manager and is also a certified Training and IT Support Consultant.

Claire has been with RI Advice Brookvale since April 2011 and is now our Practice Manager. She provides leadership and operational support for our client services team and ensures that all client related tasks and advice implementation is completed promptly and efficiently. Claire is also responsible for ensuring all regulatory and compliance obligations are met and attends regular ongoing training in this area. She is well known and respected in the broader RI Advice community.

Claire’s experience in both client facing and operational roles has provided her with a deep understanding about the importance of open communication with clients whether it be simple administrative actions or managing a complex advice implementation process.  Witnessing the life changing impacts financial advice can have provides ample motivation for Claire to always go above and beyond for all clients.
